Good location, easy access to food and shopping and short trip to downtown Raleigh. Clean and best deal for a hotel in this price range

I travel a lot, and I always look for a suite with a jacuzzi in the room. I booked a king jacuzzi suite for an actual decent price. Upon arrival I was happily surprised to find a room very clean, and one of the cleanest jacuzzis that I have come across in my travels even compared to much more expensive hotels! The breakfast was continental and had a variety of self serve options with surprisingly good coffee!! I had a great stay and also had close access to other restaurants and gas stations. Will definitely return! Thanks for the stay!!

Clean and comfortable. Good hot water and pressure. Decent channel selection on TV. Good heat in room.

These rooms are clean, comfortable and affordable. I had to make a last minute reservation here after initially renting a room at a nearby hotel. My family of 3 was comfortable in the room and it's close to downtown Raleigh and several restaurants. I would most definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed last night. I booked through Hotwire on our way home from visiting family for Christmas. We live in Wilmington and it was after midnight and we just couldn't make it the rest of the way. We were looking for something affordable and clean to rest our heads. I paid $68 plus fees so about $82. I looked up the hotel after the booking was confirmed and was horrified by the reviews. Fortunately, our experience was great. Yes, the hotel is dated and some of the efforts to modernize/remodel are lacking, but it's clean. The parking lot is well-lit and I had no concern parking our car overnight even with a backseat full of gifts and luggage visible. The room was very clean from surfaces to towels to bedding. The bed is a bit on the soft side, but comfortable. Bathroom also very clean. There were only two sets of towels and for thin, small towels, it would have been nice to have another for my hair. A plus for me is the vinyl floor as opposed to carpet. There isn't much that makes me feel that a hotel room is gross more than carpeting. Our experience was excellent. I deducted one star only for the haphazard remodeling and various small appliances plugged into surges, chipping paint, etc. For the price and cleanliness, we would definitely stay again.

I was happy with my room and the value. The room was nicer than expected (smoking room) and was very clean. Bed and couch were both comfortable. Good service. I was given a couple extra coffee pods as I wanted to have some that evening. All was very pleasant and location is in a safe area.

Completely shocked at how nice & helpful the staff were. The rooms were really really nice considering the Econolodge reputation. An honest practical hotel rating would be 3.5 out of 5 stars solely based on room physical condition. Beds were clean and bug free, room was clean, bathroom was clean but old looking which is pretty normal for this brand of hotel. Considering the budget this place was very nice for the price.

Great value. Room was clean and comfortable. No bugs. Very little traffic. Was pleasantly surprised. Will stay again.
